Veneer House ProjectVolver a la lista de Proyectos
Veneer Board is used worldwide because of its stability and quality, and by utilizing its characteristics with a new building method, people are able to complete their own house within a very short period of time. While we are in an era where disasters happen so often, the new building technique has an advantage of saving money, labors and time.
Through the use of computer technology, we can create accurate cuts on the veneer board using the CNC router; and without any special tools and knowledge, anyone can complete the basic structure of a veneer house in a very short time. As there’s always a shortage of heavy-duty machine and labor after a disaster has happened, the new building technique will be a big advantage for the locals where shelters or public spaces are urgently needed. The local people will have a chance to work together to complete their own building with a sense of community value and spirit, and will then, make the community more united in the process.
Other than to create a building with shorter time and simpler steps, improvements are continuing to be explored through each building process. As the main goal is to contribute to the society, we will keep moving forward.
