Interlocal Architects
At Interlocal Architects, we believe local communities throughout the world hold a wealth of architectural knowledge and skills that are extremely valuable even today. We are interested in creating structures and environments that are at once elemental and revolutionary, local and global. This approach is not simply about paying attention to the local environment or preserving traditions, nor is it a problem of building materials. It’s about approaching architecture and urban planning from an “interlocal” perspective that moves us beyond national borders and furthers the cultural development of structures and communities.
