Design Philosophy

I believe it is essential to draw on vernacular elements for details and design, yet to derive underlying architectural plans from a global perspective unaffected by trends.
In particular, I feel it is important to model the ways in which the spatial framework will support people’s movements as they stand and sit in a space.
I strive to construct planar structures out of abstract spaces that are not disrupted by functional elements.
