I love nature and strive to be as natural as possible in all my designs, however limited the space or other conditions maybe.
I always try to allow nature to be felt. I also try to apply traditional Japanese principles and concepts - such as roof overhangs, peripheral corridors, light filtering through shoji screens, and cross ventilation - to new designs, using both new and old materials.
I strive for my architecture to touch peoples' hearts, because after all, we are all here to be happy and enjoy the dramas of everyday life. My goal is to communicate and propagate happiness through design.
